Magic Madness.
Magic Madness is a VR game built around feng shui principles, where balance, direction, and flow shape both the world and the player’s experience. The website needed to reflect those same ideas, guiding users naturally while capturing the game’s expressive energy.
I designed the site to feel structured but alive. Every element supports movement, progression, and spatial clarity.
Structure and layout
• Designed the layout to guide users naturally from left to right and top to bottom
• Structured content flow to create a sense of progression rather than static browsing
• Used spacing and alignment to support clarity and ease of navigation
• Ensured each section transitioned smoothly into the next, reinforcing continuity
Visual direction
• Built the visual identity around feng shui principles of balance and harmony
• Combined this with the bold, expressive energy of comic book culture
• Balanced playful elements with controlled structure to avoid visual chaos
• Used contrast intentionally to create energy without disrupting flow
Typography and composition
• Selected typography that reflects both clarity and personality
• Established hierarchy to guide attention and support readability
• Used composition and spatial relationships to create rhythm and movement
• Ensured consistency across all sections of the site
Experience design
• Designed the site to reflect the personality and emotional tone of the game
• Focused on creating a sense of immersion before gameplay begins
• Reinforced the game’s themes through structure, pacing, and visual balance
• Created an experience that feels intentional, guided, and cohesive
Outcome
• Delivered a website that reflects the core principles of the game itself
• Created a digital environment that feels balanced, expressive, and immersive
• Strengthened alignment between the game’s identity and its online presence
• Established a scalable structure for future content and expansion
